I think it's where a library of classes is taken and easy-to-use functions are created to allow you to access the library in a more user-friendly way? You're "wrapping" up the classes in a sense? o.O

Just my guess.

[EDIT:] And yes, I believe this is the wrong forum <shrugs>

first: THE FIRST POST IN THIS SECTON OF THE FORUM IS "ANNOUNCEMENT: do not ask questions here!" ... and go the hell away with "i dont know if this is the right place..." sure you know!

moron!!

second: this forum is no "ask some stupid questions that could be easily found in google/wikipedia/in your ass" place! why dont you even try to do a funking search?!

general search TUTORIAL:

1. open up your web-browser
2. type "http://www.google.com" in your adress-bar
3. then click on the big white space where you can type something
4. type >"what is a wrapper" c++<
5. click on "search"
6. read the results
7. be happy and read! gain some knowledge! yeah baby :D

im sure this would be a good entry in the forums FAQ too ...

Here this person is, trying to get help and by far NOT asking to be cursed at or yelled at. What do you do? Just that! Now do the world a favor and stop giving your advice when it's not wanted! Gosh! :evil:

The question is what kind of help you can get in a forum where no questions should be asked! I think you should expect such responses if you are not at least willing to read the forum rules before posting... :?

As I see more and more annoying guest posts... I'm getting more and more to the point where I want guest users disabled... :roll:

I agree with GFXstyLER, people should search theses simple questions, and if the don't, to at least post in the right forum!
