I'll scrap this project cuz it' way out of my programming skills right now
My new project is a battle field style and look much easier.
Here's what im planing to do if there's anything wrong post what.
Modeling: 3dmax 7.
Animation: going to download anim8or i know i can animate in 3dmax but then i export it the bones and such get exported as geomatry.
Maps: A base hight map for terrain and buildings and props.
NewTop for cars and ragbolls.
Dev-CPP for proggraming.
The gimp For Texturing.
If there's anything missing post If i need to donwload any thing more post free downloads.
New in Town.
What I really need is a programming tutorial or a game made with irrlicht and it's source code so i can learn it and take or modify what i need. The basic things like collision loading a map adding moving props I don't need any help with that.
What i need right now is Weapons, AI, Basic movment like jumping crouching, Pickups, And other things like that ANY help Will Be Great.
One thing i'm really wondering is lets say i attach a weapons to the camera the other players or AI will see a flouting weaons not a player. and shoot at the weapon not a player That i Can't see.
What i'm trying to say is how would the player see the only FPS weapons.
And other See and shoot only at the player Model that I am.
I need any help with programming.

FYI an animation system with bones is difficult. skin is as well. skin and bones if you have the guts is hard as hell. i would say that you just do basic animations on your own right in 3dsmax and then import them first. let them work. then when you get your physics and collisions going you can try your best to make an animation system.
i plan to make an animation system but not until i get the networking down and physics and collisions and hopefully streaming worlds after my maya loader. but it's all just tools to get everything to work. that animations is gonna kill ya. and i dont know where to start yet but i have alot of friends that still do this for a living so i can get help. if i do it i might be able to help you out a little
oh and think networking from the get go. adding in networking after you've made your game is a deal breaker. destroys alot of games that could have been good ::
