Sorry, not sure where to post this, but since niko seems to answer in this area the most, I am putting it here.

On the development page, it says

Development Overview
This section shows the current development status of the Irrlicht Engine. Features in gray rows are complete.

If you scroll down a bit too the "GUI-Library", the last post is

Skinnable Elements 0% Planned Elements skinnable with bitmaps and textures 0.11.0

It is greyed, and not a lighter color. However it says it is not complete, but it is dark grey.
