PoseMaker 1.0 for Irrlicht

Post by mohaps »

This is a cheap skate attempt at creating a MD2 posing tool using Irrlicht for use in webcomics...

I have the version 1.0 ready...

Image

This is a sample output produced by using the PoseMaker 1.0 and GIMP post processing

This was first discussed here http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/phpBB2/ ... php?t=9694

Right now i have run into a problem / bug with saving RTT Render Target Texture to a file... apart from that the whole interface and program is up and running....

pretty cool.

Yet though i prefer to draw my own comics. After all am freakin' good at it.

The tool has possibilities. Like a lot the old comics cheap print u gave to it. Looks a lot like kindda very personal style of comics of old times...back from 60s to early 90s....

It has the exact touch.

I hope u don't have much success...was planning launching my own huge comic (that project one never starts) and you may ruin all my possibilities filling all comic scene of kiddies using md2...

wait.

no.

is even harder to make a good md2 than a good comic ;)

Lol.

No. Seriously. very good tool.

But I'm still waiting for an space ship game of you ;)

/joke/

i am sure.. you are good at it.... :)

thanks for the style compliment...

yeah.. i tried to do the Daredevil (Frank Miller) style panel for this one... recently the NightWing comics have adopted this style too...

but there are so many free MD2s available from polycount... granted you can't make money of them.. but still free webcomics for exposure will do for now...

BTW, I use this for making crappy webcomics and storyboards for artists I work with... :)

Hehe, funny. Sonn you'll run out of md2 models and have to create your own ones :)
