Irllicht portal

I've made a flash site for a hip-hop band but they didnt want it (even for free) because the site was to big (2mb) !!! So i thought is better to do something with the site.
What do you think? It's a good ideea to build an Irrlicht portal where to put all links, tutorials, comments and other stuff togheter? I mean really all stuffs and make a complete site.

I could modify this site (that belongs to me) to fit in, with proper images. Here goes the link:

Sorry for multipart archive. My ftp client wont allow me to put files larger than 500kb. You need flash 7 plugin installed to see.

ps. they build another site (http://www.la-familia.ro) that says its better than mine. Huh..

Well, I'd say it'd be a duplication of effort as there are 3 sources for things like that already.

Irrlicht main site and forum - http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net
Irrlicht Wiki - http://www.irrforge.org
IrrDev - http://www.irrdev.com (I believe.. only been there once)

However, if you want to adjust the style of the Irrlicht Wiki, I would put it online. However, flash is overcumbersome for that type of a site so any changes would need to be done on the html/css level.

I've also started a place to host projects and files - http://gdlib.net/ - so that makes 4! I think the wiki is the best place for the kind of information you're talking about, it's accessable and editable by everyone and is pure of heart - ie has no ulterior motives
And I'm also a flash hater because my Nokia doesn't support flash!
