So I'm sitting at work in the middle of a project that requires a decorative brick pattern, so I start looking about on ye ol' interweb looking for an efficient way to pull it off without having to spend hours in photoshop, and I found this:
http://www.accurateimage.com/acme/help/click.htm
(this is the help link, rather than me posting screenshots here)
It will make a tilable image that you can save as bmp, jpg, tga or tif
You start off with a pallettte of brick that you can quickly and easily change colors of brick, mortar, running bond, soldier coarses, etc.
Even replacing individual bricks to make a pattern.
And its FREE!

It is intended to be a tool for them to sell their bricks, but it can definately be handy just for making images.
