Is there any site with free game sounds? I've searched the web but what I found was some ugly midi files or simple sounds. Thanks.

Check this out. I mailed Arkane Studios:

Hi,
This is fine, as long as you display some legal info about the
ownership of these sounds since they belong to Arkane.
Such info should be found in the Readme.txt, and on the exit screen or
loading screen of the gane. The information should also be found if you
use these sounds on a webpage.
