hi im new to using irrlicht and was wondering if you will be adding a feature so that it can use meshes from the poser program,

as the project that im working on has got several beings made in poser

I beleive poser mesh can be exported to irrlicht supported
file e.g. 3ds.

As far my knowledge is concern, i dont think poser file
can be directly loaded to irrlicht.

And if any one create a mesh loader for poser including
uv map, texture and it's animation, irrlicht will be more
popular than other 3d engine, since it is very easy to do
animation in poser and it has a lot of prefabs animation
you can easily apply to an actor.

has anyone been able to make any bits to make the engine capeable of using poser meshes??

Poser meshes generally have very high poly counts and would be unsuitable for game content. You would have to reduce the poly count, but then they wouldn't be Poser meshes anymore.
