My throw at making a GUI editor (CIGE)

Post by Cristian »

Hi. This was supposed to be part of the Coralis suite (along with an IDE), but I recently decided to post it here separately. It is now v0.1.
And yes, I know that there's a sh**load of GUI editors out there, but I made this tailored to my needs. I want this to become a helper in designing GUI apps with Irrlicht.

Downlad http://www.geocities.com/badbreath778/CIGE.zip
(btw I don't have a bad breath. It's just a storage yahooID. :D)

To do for v0.2:
- Implement ID property.
- Implement Events and Event coding
- Implement Tabs,Context Menu, Main Menu, Font and Skin control generation
- Implement Loading of saved layouts
- Add support for .NET languages

So, doesn't anyone have anything to say about this !? Usually people have a lot to say about projects like these (and not only).
LOL. Just jokeing :D. It's a free community so anyone can do whatever they like.

Nice and easy to use. Good job.
It'll be nice to see it completed. :)
If it exists in the real world, it can be created in 3d

Sys specs:
AMD 3700+ 64 processor
1.0 gb ram
e-Geforce 6600 graphics 256 mb onboard ram

Hope this has some decent progress, simple layout... but I'm looking forward to seeing some functionality!

Here it is!

Post by Cristian »

After 1/2 an hour of searching, I found out I was limited to 2kb/s upload speed by my ISP. After some persuading ('PLZ MAN!, I need to put up some stuff!!!'), I finally got it raised to 5KB/s.
So here it is:

Well... v0.3 is *STILL in the works (still can't figure it out well for VB.net, it's been ages since I last used VB :D ).
v0.2 can now be found on http://gdlib.net/ (under Tools) as well.
