EDITED BY MODS BECAUSE OF CLASSIFIED INFO
Hopefully some of the most annoying bugs and important features already available throughout the forums will make it into that version. What about the latest IrrSpintz changes, especially VBOs and the SColor changes!?

@Anaconda: but you are!

It's only that Niko wants it to be a nice surprise so we don't want anyone to ruin it before it's time.

do not despair guys! All we can say is that it's close.

Yup, I keep coming back around here... :)
I like the comunity , surely ;)

yes, just remember wehn I said... "a bird told me a great x exporter is gonna come for Blender 2.41..." and me whistling... ;) Well, it's here and works cool, yet I am afraid several didin't learnt well the proccess.Once again, I *must* do that site of tuts and files...

That which afe said sounded to me as really good. heck is good that Niko continues doing whatever the amount of work on it :) And with the streght of comunity work, I have seen engines really grow. :) So imho, the engine is in a sweet moment :)
Finally making games again!

Since the CVS is working again it is not classified! Just read the changes.txt there and you'll know. It clearly states the next step, which had been version 0.14.1 first, but now has been renamed. BTW: This information - even if changed in the CVS - can be recovered by choosing the appropriate revision :D

Just another thing that came to my mind: Software release are no birthday presents. I think I like a new software release much more if I know in advance what will be included, instead of having to check all the time if my suprprise has finally arrived without knowing what it will be. It's not a childish birthday party we're all into. So maybe next time keep the development page updated and thus keep suspense for the release date, but not for release content.
And hey, finally CVS became useful to some extent :wink: And Niko posted a hint for the CVS in his blog.
