Project name:
RedCloud

Brief description:
RedCloud is a project about building a tool to help developers (small business / independent game developers / hobbyist) to make easy to build and deploy real-time 3D content.

Type of projects:
- 3D / 2D games
- architecture visualization
- product / design visualization
- virtual reality systems

We'll be doing incremental releases witch mean we will be able to see your work pretty fast.
The aim of the project is that we will work in a team with small tasks from witch you can chose.
(so your are doing what you like and depending on your free time)

Target aim:
license based

Compensation:
Payment will begin when we finish the first release (and that will not bee to long).

Technology:
Engine: Irrlicht (a very flexible engine and a start point for our quest)
API: OpenGL and OpenGL Shader Language

Talent needed:
Coders - C/C++ is a must
[closed] 2D Artist - 2D graphics and web design
[closed] 3D Artist - 3D modeling (optional - animation, rendering, texture)
(WARNING: must have at least one complete project witch you can tell us about)

I've had a look at your blog and what you'e mentioned here. While the images look good and all - I still do not know what your toolkit is for.

For example, my toolkit application is for bringing a variety of tools to hobbiest animators & modellors. For example, my toolkit is used to convert clothing meshes from one figure to another, convert textures from one UV Map layout to another, etc. These require modest 3D rendering capabilities as they are mostly used to view the result of these internal operations.

Your images (and movie) don't give me an indication of what I would use the toolkit for.

said before...looks like a really good project. I cant join as am busy with certain stuff...

but looks like graphically advanced stuff.

Update:

It will also be a series of mini-tutorials and small tasks for the beginning.

some mini-tutorials in my mind:
- introduction tot Irrlicht engine
- OpenGL Shader Language
