My new application needs a name (not a game)

Post by cypher543 »

Well, I'm not so good at product branding. You can certainly tell by the name of my first completed application, IntegriCheck. It was a small Windows program that could generate 4 different kinds of checksums to verify a file's integrity. Dumb name, huh?

Anyway... I'm moving up to a more mission-critical application. It started out as a small client manager for a local business that had hired me to manage their database. However, it is slowly turning into a seperate project. It has now gone from a small client manager to a full business management suite.

But, as I said, I'm no good at product branding and I don't have any ideas. So, I've come to ask you if you would happen to have an idea for a name. It should not be trademarked or copyrighted already and it should be creative. Nothing like "BusinessManager". I could have come up with that on my own.

Thanks in advance! :D

How about
  • Business Manager 2000
  • Business Manager 3000
  • Business Manager Pro
Okay, I'm just kidding
Maybe you should give a bit more information about your application. It's hard to think of a name for your app without knowing what it does.

Sorry. I admit, "business management suite" is a bit too vague. :P

Here's a current list of (planned) features:
  • Client manager
    Inventory Manager
    Charting and reporting system
Financial tracker (manage income and expenses, etc)
Misc. Utilities (note manager, ToDo list, etc)
    SQL database backend
    and more...
That's just off the top of my head. The final product with have more features than that.
