Artefacts on my3d maps !

Hello!

I have problem with my3d files and also blitz3d using b3d loader
in my code i load temple scene and as you se:

when i turn on stencil buffer no artefacts, but my avi file inside 3d looks
very ugly, i try with direct3d8 and direct3d9 and i see also artefacts
maybe sameone to have solution for this???

OctTree won't help here, it's the zbuffer precision which is wrong. By turning on stencil buffers also the zbuffer might change so your problem gets fixed. Try to change zbuffer depth or your cam's near and far value.

I play with camera near and far value and nothing, so how to change zbuffer depth???

thts not artifacts

artifacts are white squares or checkerboxes in your game and those would be caused by your video card getting to hot tht means turn down the clock speed and memory speed

here is solution i rebuild irrlicht with this settings:

file: CD3D9Driver.cpp

if (!StencilBuffer)
present.AutoDepthStencilFormat = D3DFMT_D16;

to :
present.AutoDepthStencilFormat = D3DFMT_D24S8;
