lightwave .x exporter

Post by Guest »

My lightwave (7.5) can't export to .x file. Does anyone know where I can get a .x exporter plugin?

yep, the main site is this. The link deps gives is the direct one.
http://www.dstorm.co.jp/dslib/index-e.html

seems is the only one. As in the page where I dfound more x plugins, http://www.quest3d.com/index.php?id=102

have it listed. For the 5.6, 7.5 versions, I think

Indeed, in that page there's a bunch of exporters of x for other pacakges.

yet i'd add to that list (may one day have to make a list of tools and niko may make it sticky... ;) ) the Hash Animation Master one :

http://www.obsidiangames.com/products/amxtex/

the www.caligari.com one, for Truespace6.6 (I would not advice Gamespace). GamePak, or conversion pak 2.1.
I do have a free x exporter for Truespace 4, not easy to find in the web. It's free. Obviously , as they seel these converters, you don't find this free one there...but keeps being free.

[oh, and an unrelated sweetie... Normal maps plugins for lw...great site with pics...shows the heck of detail added with a normal map...but i wouldnt hurry with it...a hi res model cost many times more of work than a low/mid count one... ;) and yet the engine needs other basic improves :) ]
