3ds problem - irredit 0.5
I tried to load a .3ds file into irredi,t but the textures are not
loaded. With an old version irredit 0.2 it loads the textures
without a problem.

you need to add a light, looks like turning lighting off for meshes with multiple materials is broke in 0.6
btw, some mesh creation tips- one of your building has glass behind the walls, which causes z-fighting at large distances, and some of your buildings have faces on the inside which will never be seen, which is a waste

If i add light it usually looks horrible.
Maybe i just have to experiment with irredit more.
It would be good if the normal setting in irredit would be more comfortable.
Maybe niko is changing the basic settings. A daylight preset would be good
or something like this.
It looks like irredit is getting more and more complicated. It is necessary that
it is still easy to use.
Or niko has to write a 100 pages doku
Maybe somebody should start to write a simple doku about irredit. If i have time i start one.

I just downloaded irrlicht 1.2 and tried my model .
In my old engine version 0.14 the model was displaying with
textures 100 % ok.
Now it is also all black.
I use the terrain example source and opengl.
What kind of change happened between irrlicht 0.14 and 1.2 to
the .3ds part of the engine ?
Or is it just the placement light ?
