oh yea i changed the path after and then i took a picture of it.
i'v even used your own (thanks:) ) and i need some other files i think,dont remember. i say it again i dont like visual c++.

i moved the media files,done alot still didn work.i know its that stupid line!!

fmodex_vc.lib is the fmod sound library for visual studio, the compiler dosn't think it's at the location you've specified in the project settings.

I would trust the compiler on this one.

If you havn't got a copy of fmodex_vc.lib then you can use IrrWizard to create a dummy Visual Studio project and copy it from there. (I've noticed in your path that you've used it)

If you need to specify another location to find fmodex_vc.lib then you can change it in the project linker options:

Project->properties->linker->input Addional Dependencies

problem thing is that i dont have D: that is a hardrive and those source codes is from trooper.

Yeah, that's Ok.

You just need to change the path to that file in your project settings:

Project->properties->linker->input Addional Dependencies

Then where you see the D:\Projects\DirectX\MyGame\Irrlicht\blah\blah\blah\fmodex_vc.lib

Put the path to were it is on your hard drive: C:\myProject\lib\fmodex_vc.lib for example.

Or remove the dependancy to FMOD in the source.

Just downloaded the source and checked it out. You can remove that reference in the project settings as it's not used.

ok now i got anther error. i dont know how to link the irrlicht.dll to dyamic?
i got the irrlicht.dll in a few folders.

getting the wii in 1 hour aswell,australian launch:):):)

All you need to do for that one is to put the Irrlicht.dll in your main project folder, the one with the .exe in

Also make sure it's the same version you compiled your source from, ie 1.1 or whatever. And that it's the Visual studio version of the dll, not the Dev C++ one

If it still doesn't work, check to see if you have another dll somewhere, like in the Windows/System32 folder. If there is one there, delete it immediatly, this is very bad.

You are severly misguided.

I never "storm out of the forum" like you might have the idea to do.

I've been here a long time most of the people I've worked with are devoloping Irrlicht and much more.

I've seen the creation of almost every webpage related to Irrlicht and sadly the fall of a few.

I'm not the greatest coder but I probably know more about this engine then most of you.

I'm not disgruntled nor angry nor lashing out. nobody pissed in my cheerios and BTW cheerios suck.

You are one confusing individual. I remember very clearly a forum where you went off your hinges at the most unexplainable moment. I can go into detail if you want, as I was one of those who had to bear the brunt of your outlash. And it ended with you mouthing Irrlicht, its forum, and its users. Stating something to the effect that they will be nothing without you, and you'd never return, etc. etc. Couple of months later, you are back, seemingly oblivious to what happened...

You need to learn how to interpret what someone is saying and consider their feelings.

I suggest you print this out and tape it to your monitor.
