On second thought, I'll just post one of my boring renders...

Yay! I decided to put this up as a primary objective of the HC society and updated my signature accordingly
Moving on to...
A fractal, yay! I'm hoping to do some 3D ones in the upcoming months, i took a class at my uni about computer-generated art and fractals are gonna be one of the topics you can choose to do as your final project

- Generated ornament.
Mosaic.
Nodes.
Fractals.
Bioart.
Communication graphics and image perception.
Non-photorealistic rendering
Exact (numeric) aesthetics.
Whatever that means

Cool! I'll be in the club too!
3D fractals? Sweet! That's what I'm trying to do as well, though at the moment, my current renderer is a simple 2D one, primarily to make sure everything else works first. Once I finish putting together 2D variations, I'll move on to 3D stuff. My eventual goal will be raytracing. Now wouldn't
that be cool?

I don't have a clue what half of those imply but ok, none seem interesting imo

hi guys. long time no see

. Ok, i just starting irrlicht again. my poor rusty c++ coding skill are about to get some serious sharpening. for now irredit screenshoot first. next i'll post some real shader ( it's a promise

).
my old robot in irrlicht. obsessed on mechanical things, like hydraulics, cables, and engine causing polygons counts too high for a single model. but i happens to give a pretty good sense of a working robot.
here is my new model created in blender, diesel punk theme i think. irredit view port for now.
the plan is to make it looks a lot better than this.

This here's a proof of concept for a tablet house-selling app. Please excuse lack of MSAA.

Hi guys, I've been lurking here for the last two months or so because I'm working on a zombie game project built on Irrlicht. We have a small team of people who got together on Imgur (any Imgurians here?). Initially I was a graphics noob, but Irrlicht was so easy to use that I was able to make something decent-looking. A big thanks to the people behind Irrlicht who made this possible! Here is a screenshot from the first demo scene:
Details:
- Irrlicht 1.8.1
- Deferred rendering
- Normal and specular mapping
- VSM Soft Shadows
Art assets from
http://opengameart.org/content/zombie and
http://3dmodel.domawe.com/entry/Ruins-Free-3D-Model
Many thanks to ent1ty and BlindSide, whose code helped me a lot! I hope to start hanging out here more often

Hello,
I recently started coding again and implemented Cascaded Shadow Maps. Just wanted to share with you all:
I have videos as well:

http://youtu.be/TmPsybfzquo
These are all done in Irrlicht, of course.

This poor thread gets too little love.
After trying out different things, I'm finally back to irrlicht and trying to create 3D "fractals". This time, I have a system that's easy to use and extend... and one annoying bug at the moment.
Simple test:
