Not sure, but I can tell you this. Niko likes the new theme (default one) for a change; and if it helps a bit on the security part better. So he added the Irrlicht logo to it and we'll be using it for a while.
If any of you got phpbb knowledge or cool themes to share please let us know :D

I did a search for some themes, and this is what I found :

Clean, energic, happy theme
Simple, professional theme
Simple, close to the default theme

Of course, there are many other themes out there, but these looked better from that list.

Decisions, decisions ... :D

My all time favorite:

Simple, clean, and modern

If I had a PHPBB forum, I would use that one. But I'm more of an IPB guy. *shrugs*

Btw, if you ever need a skin customized or something, just contact me. I've had some experience with the PHPBB template system and graphic design. Heck... no charge. Think of it as a "thank you" for making a great 3D engine! :D

thanks for the suggestions and links andrei25ni and cypher543 :D

Cypher, thanks for your kind offer. I'm sure Niko will be interested in personalizing and updating the forums a bit. Is your stuff for version 5.0.20? I mean, does it have visual confirmation enabled for new registrations?
Also, if you know of any security updates or enhancements would be cool to learn from your experience and apply it here. I'll pass the idea to bitplane and we might bother you again, ok?

I must be one of the few that like the current skin. It is not too dark or bright, or has weird colors.

Sorry if I gave you the wrong impression. I've never actually created a custom PHPBB template. I've only done modifications to existing skins. Such as changing the color scheme, creating new images, installing hacks, etc. But if you find any useful hacks to install or maybe you would like some new images or colors for whatever skin you choose, feel free to contact me anytime. :D

EDIT: On second thought, I've decided to install PHPBB for myself and get up-to-date on the new version's features. I'll mess around with a custom template to get used to the system. If you have any ideas for a new template, send them to me and I'll see what I can do.

@jam: you're not the only one, It's pretty clean and easy to read. Niko also likes it!

@cypher: thanks for the help. I'm glad you decided to install a forum for testing purposes. It's the best way to learn phpbb. Let's see how things evolve and what ideas come out of all this and we'll sure look for you once the time comes.

does someone know what this guy wants to tell me?
I might be trying to tell you something, but no need to dwell on it...

Anyway, I like this skin, but the only problem is that it does not fit the irrlicht color scheme... Irrlicht has less 'silver' and has more white, gray and purple... Or something like it... and irrlicht does not have the gradient blue - that kinda ruins the colors....

As always, No Offense meant.
I have recently discovered that both the Flu and my Algebra teacher have exact the same effect on my health: it quickly degrades.
