You discovered a bug in the engine, and you are sure that it is not a problem of your code? Just post it in here. Please read the bug posting guidelines first.
I just wanted to say, thanks for your help hybrid. Using svn now
allows me to keep up to date, and I'm getting used to recompiling and pointing to the .dll in the irrlicht/bin.. folder.
