As of yesterday RakNet dropped the shareware and retail fees, so the library is now completely free to use for any purpose. Though you have to simply fill out a form to get the Shareware or Retail rights.

That is good to hear :)

I guess i'll go back to my trial and error attempt at compiling RakNet with Dev-C++.

Sorry for the double post but I guess I must correct myself. I downloaded the SDK and there seems to be a Dev-C++ static lib in the RakNet.zip file. So i'm guessing it's already possible.

Whoever wants to know how to compile RakNet with Dev-C++. Just download the free version and extract all the files into a folder. Extract the DevCppStatic.zip into the same folder. Open the project file and compile. It should give you a static lib file. (.A) Now just link that with your project, along with the other lib files. Use the includes in the source folder and it should work fine.
