I think that the latest two versions of VS should be a priority with support for .NET (2003) being the baseline.
Or as mentioned, use a VS 2005 project file and do regression testing against the converter, I wouldn't mind this. But importing 5 year old project files will probably not be a great thing to do when the next release comes around. Not really a great situation, but nonetheless I can hardly say it's a bad thing to include somewhat tested versions of non-supported VS project files. Having them there will always be nice.
