I haven't actually checked myself, but according to the docs-

Wouldn't it make more sense to install it locally first, do your testing under
WAMP and then upload it once you're sure that everything works as expected?

I think I know what it is.
I think I've placed the "Advanced Visual Confirmation 1.2.1\root\captcha" folder not in the right place.
Can you tell me please where should I place it?

Since it says "\root\captcha" the captcha dir goes in the root.
I did this about a year ago from the installation instructions, so I can't really give a step by step guide.
You install it under wamp on your local machine first, get a feel for installing php/mysql apps until you are confident with them.

There's something very weird with SF.net.
I couldn't enter the site's server. It said it my password was wrong but I could log in my account on SF.Net.
after doing a bit RTFM-ing (
) I changed my password and everything worked again.
I've decided to do the whole installation again overriding what I've already did and the weirdest part is that it seems I didn't change anything and the "captcha" directory was in the right place all the time but when I checked it now after I reinstalled it, it seems it finally worked.
I've tried registering a new account and I saw the "let see u f***** bots figuring that" image.
Well, I owe you my life
,lol, finally (I hope) I won't have to clean 10 porn spams a day and send this Sun Microsystem dude a link without being afraid he seeing those threads..
So thanks a lot bitplane! You're my man of the hour.

Yup it works. I see no more spam.
