3DS Import Problem

Hi. I've just downloaded your mesh.
I see the problem. I don't think that is IRRlicht related the mesh is ok also.
The problem is that you want to have the specularity but you haven't put a light in the scene. So the surface look "flat" like a cartoon.
Do this and confirm you see what you want:
Load you object in IRRedit (3DS or OBH, I've tried OBJ)
Select your object and go in the MATERIAL panel (Material surface ALWAYS need to be tweaked to be used in IRRlicht)
In that panel activate:
Activate the item - Lighting
Deactivate the item - backface culling (so you'll see the 2 sides of your object)
Set the parameter Shininess to a least 64.
Once that is done add a light in your scene and you should now see your object with the specularity coming from the surface.
If you want to use it in the IRRlicht engine, the quick way is to save that as a IRRscene (you keep your object also). You load back your IRRscene then the engine will load back your object and apply the surface attributes from the IRRscene file.
