Great game! Very addicting =)
Although, I was susprised that when I hit down my puppy jumped to his doom instead of stepping backwards.

Also, I found a bug: On one of the levels (three I think?) I was ammusing myself by running around a strip of boxes after I had won (ya know, when the camera is spinning around) and then I went to the next level, and my puppy was running in place XD

To recreate:
* Finish a level
* Hold down up to run around the blocks you are on.
* Press down while holding up to continue to the next level.

----

One last thing; You should start the game in the user's native resolution or in windowed mode, some people's computers (such as mine) do not take kindly to resolution changes (I think its because of my dual monitors for the most part, but my Radeon X1600 has never been a fast resolution changer)

Yeah i was gonna suggest using the native resolution, in fact my monitor's resolution wasn't even an option in the list.

To get the current resolution the PC is set to you can create a NULL device (with driver type EDT_NULL) and then device->getVideoModeList()->getDesktopResolution() will give you the resolution, then you could probably populate the list of optional resolutions to change to by reducing down their current resolution sensibly so it keeps their aspect ratio etc.

Fun and challenging game! Besides what's been said here, I can't really think of anything to add, except maybe allowing people to walk backwards instead of jump with back arrow...

DtD: thanks for that, I've sorted out that bug in v89, as well as some music bugs

JP: I'll add the native resolution feature in the next version. I take it your on a big screen?

Thanks for all the good reviews, It's about time I started a new project :D

Yeah i've got a widescreen monitor, which is something you didn't provide support for ;)

If you just use the native resolution then you support users who are using multiple monitors to display your game too!

The new version .9 uses irrlicht 1.4.2 and thus fixes the openGL bug. Also I fixed the SDL audio scratching bug that most people seemed to have

I'll add a native screen res for the next version JP so you can enjoy it in it's widescreen glory :P

I realy like this game !!! :)
also I still didn't figure out how to jump to boxes that are farther away...

and maybe you could add an 180° turn when pressing the S key ??? ;)

but I think you should now focus a bit more on the edit mode...
maybe with the use of icons for selecting the item to place...
if the edit mode was a bit more intuitive you could make a level-creating-contest !?!?! :D

This is a very addictive game. I played it through 3 times just trying to see how few times I could die. I think with some professional art, it could sell very well at one of the major casual game portals. Contact me if your interested in having some art done for it.

Sweet game. :) I especially like the music, and the sound effects fit very well. The art is pretty cool, too.
