well that means also violation of rule 1 isn't it?
1) This is a forum for the announcement of projects that use Irrlicht ONLY.
@dcworks why posting on different render engine forums?

Are you
kidding? I'm getting beer and popcorn[1]. Bring it, heathens.
The True Church of Our Blessed Lady Alyson of Hannigan stands ready to assist our Sister Cult in this, their Noble Crusade.
Let's try to keep it classy though; if you can't manage classy, try for peppy.
[1] OK, I already had beer, but I am sending the wife to butter some corn[2].
[2] Later I may butter her muffin in return.

Really that rule should be revised: "This is a forum for the announcement of projects that use Irrlicht as their ONE and ONLY rendering engine." Otherwise, that would mean quite a lot of great projects already in the Project Announcements forum are in violation of that rule.
On a second note, I don't understand why Irrlicht has to be the only rendering engine that the user makes use of.

Basically nothing much in their website. Most pages are empty except the DONATE page, which is full or text and images. Good try, mate.

"Let God establish you financially online so you can give to his kingodm"? LOL??? Come on this is obvious.
It's nothing to do about the religion but I'm seriously doubt about the thread starter.

I love how Rogerborg is usually virulent to those starting similar threads for not following, amongst other, rule 0. But, since he became a mod, he's taken this role of active spectator. Thus he laughs. Thus we laugh.
Bwahahaha.
Also, on a more serious note, if your project has ANY credibility at all, why not try and get funding from either the catholic or the closest christian Church?
-Added notes after browsing the site-
Aren't betting against christian believes?
Aren't pyramid scheme illegal in most countries?
You are NOT the only online multiplayer community that allows to convert fake money into real. I mean, that was, for a long time, the only argument for the existence of Second Life.
There will always be critics and persecutors...

God bless all of you..Jesus loves you soo much and so do i. Game Development may cost money and thats why i have a donation page but salvation (of your soul) doesn't cost a thing because Jesus paid the price for you when he died on your behalf on the cross to make all of us right with God. Lets put contention down, i didnt come talking about religion, but a Person who loves you and came to bring you true life. You dont have to be depressed or stressed anymore, he died for that, you dont have to be sick anymore he paid the price for that. For those that are skeptical whether Jesus is who he is, just ask him to come into your heart save you and reveal himself to you i promise you a peace will come in your heart you never ever experienced and he will begin to make himself real to you. and if you need help or have questions or need God to do a miracle in your life. feel free to email me. Take care, Jesus loves you.

LOL i would rather pay to Jesus myself and not you LOL but of course I will not.
Anyway this is some kind of psychology, dude.
If you're intended to get the game done, you would have been started to think about the gameplay, storyline, etc, and not MONEY at the first place.
and, you said that the game will be open source and free, but let me requote your own words again:
know the Good things God has in store for all of us by reaching people through digital media
In store? How could that be? Your sentence has too much holes in it, you're attacking your own statement. huhuhuhuhuhuhu

Sorry, but the vast majority of people on this forum who would be able to pull a game off will require payment in order to at least buy the necessities of life.
You may get more people to join if you get funding and offer to pay people to work on your game.
As nice as it is that you are trying to spread the "good news", a business venture like this is, well... business. Speak to us as if this was a business opportunity not a mission and we may be more inclined to take you seriously.

(Ignoring a large number of childish replies here...)
I may be interested in joining your team at some point.

I don't yet have the knowledge of Irrlicht to proceed on a project, as I've only recently begun learning it. But a Christian-themed game is a project I'd like to work on at some point.. as long as it has potential to turn out better than previous games (Noah's Ark 3D etc.).
As for pay, spreading the Gospel is enough reward in itself. I shall volunteer at some point in the future if I am able and if there is enough promise in the projects...
