PC Futbol (a spanish soccer manager game, really the best).
I've never seen a footie management game better than Champ so I'm skeptical. What makes it better ( I am going to be pretty biased to start with so it's an uphill task convincing me :) )

thats why you never played PC futbol, here in spain all agree that Champ is a great manager, but pcfutbol is best.

Try it, you will like it. (last version was 2001)

@Century
Was that the one made by Lionhead Studios? (formerly Bullfrog)
Its the one where your character changes depending on how you act in the world.

Peter Molyneux is GOD. Never mind Carmack. :p

@Diablo2
Have you tried "Tides of war" its OK but I prefer it without myself.

@Starcraft
This is good but as an AI freak I an say this. It CHEATS. And that ruins it.
They (the AI) should have to find you on the map, but they know where you are from the start. Im not sure but I think they did they same in WarcraftIII. Too hard in single player. IMHO
Good game, though apart from that

But thankyou for your thoughts.

I think I opened up a can of worms with this topic. Neat. :D

Haven't tried tides of war.

SC is a multiplayer game, IMO, I can take on 7 computers... it's not hard.

the AI in SC is sad :(

Wow. That loud thud was my chin hitting the floor! :shock:
You can see why I mixed the two up (century & fable)

Keep up the good work m8 :)

NOTE: Dont try to use a download accelerator or you'll get banned for a while.

Ive been meaning to ask arras, did you base your name on the high priest of the Mechanists Karras? Hes my hero. lol

Let thy foes be vanquished, and all thy endevours be a blessing unto thee...."

Starships Unlimited is good too (though this has all changed since I last saw it)

OMG I remember CHAOS.
Wasnt that all coded by Jullian Gollop? I got that free on the front of a speccy magazine. (a demo)

I liked rebelstar, he didnt get poper protection on it and I figured out how to alter the number of shots a combat droid has. It nornally has only 4. I just searched the memory for the number 4 and altered it. (peek, poke lol)
IN the end I figured out the memory addresses for the map, I could change that too! I Made a map editor in amstrad +2A BASIC. :)

Lol, c64 had better sprites but speccy was faster
