if it's no coding needed, and is added just an *.x animated mesh load, I'd be really happy to test it seriously (and who knows if even use it for a project or a basic graphic adventure.....)
Finally making games again!

I was undecided about improving it or not, and I was thinking about some other games I would like to make, but I see that some people finally are interested so I will - perhaps - improve it again.

Sorry but currently, there isn't any load of mesh. The pictures of the game must be rendered by 3dsmax or any other rendering program. But if you think it is really necessary, I will think about that.
without quicktime or flash or something to give it animation you can kiss the most important part of a myst game goodbye.. the machinema!
Right, but it will not be easy to include quicktime or flash in an Irrlicht scene ... I dunno how I could do that. But currently you can add animations using several images in the same jpeg file (see the game example).
your button collision is very inacurate
For the button collision, you can create severals 'mechanims' and set the same 'consequences' so you can create like that more complicated buttons. But I'm agree that it is not a nice solution, and you can't make 'drag and drop' buttons, so it should be improved.

I am also thinking about adding a main menu and a load/save system, also being configured with xml. But I can't promise anything.

My web site url has moved, so IrrAdventure is now here :
http://fopen-studios.net/index.php?lang ... enture.txt
and IrrAdventure has been updated.

It uses now some functions to use Irrlicht and Audiere easily, and these functions are available here :
