Firstly you dont have to know every feature of c++, you can write normal applications without inheritance and virtual function. Secondly there is a set of such game making progs. Blitz basic, blitz3d, pure basic, 3d game maker, 3d game studio, dark basic etc... i love blitz3d, thousands of sources, demos and a nice community.voltare wrote:I understand that....but I am not learning c++( dev-c++) just for my own good.....I am doing it so I can make a 3d game making program, the kind that i've been searching for, and no-one seems to have anywhere...C++ is too ridiculous, too difficult for a newbie to gamemaking to understand, and if we try...we get frustrated.Now, a some of us on here can't afford to go to c++ school, we can't afford to buy c++ books, and we can't afford MSVC++.
So, we have to ask questions.I, myself, want to make 3d rpgs for myself, I could care less about selling them.
I don't know C++....help.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!
