most programming languages are written in english ...might be due to fakt about english beeing wolrd-language (but remember german was nearly elected to be world language, guess it was 1 vote difference when they decied on this one)

end after all. WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT??
i mean'm still learning inglish in school so what?. noone's english is perfect, there isn't even a single "real" english .. there are BE/AE and countless other dialacts all over the world.
The goal of a language is not to master the grammar perfectly or writing posts in forums or getting good marks in school. I think language exist to let people comunicate with each other and i had not really a problem understanding what he asked ( ok maybe cause he didnt clear if he needs a animation or an animation-export tutorial, but thats not the point).
as long as we all understand what he's saying its ok, isn't it? and if we dont we can ask him/her to ask it in a different way.
... is there still someone who's insisting on a perfect english?.. well if there is. read your gramma books but no forum posts

Exactly.

It used to be that everyone used Latin. This was because it was a stable language that wasn't fluidly changing like the languages used today. I think for some things (in the medical field particularly) they may still use Latin occasionally when publishing information.

And a lot of places use French as a common language. In 2002 when we had the Winter Olympics here in Utah the two languages declared to be the official ones for the games were English and French.

if you know english well enough to understand things its ok, isnt it? but if you know such little english that you can only understand the basic things, you will probably get into some trouble because of the things i told you above (the stuff with tutorials/help files/websites/....), believe it or not.i guess chinese people also know english
most easiest ???????

yes im still learning it, but you seem to have no funking clue what you are talking about, idiot! english actually IS the most easiest language around, or can you give me another example of what you think is easier to learn for foreign people? german? no. french? no. spanish?no. dutch? no. russian/turkish/all that other stuff? no. chinese/japanese/blabla ? no. isnt much left, isnt it?

2 or 3 weeks ago i had to write a report for school about english as a world language (advantages, disadvantages, why it is a world language, ...) so im pretty sure that im right :)

ps: i think guest accounts should be turned off.
ps2: can we now end this stupid discussion? lets just say that im right and you are not!

Well, English is not every body's native language here !!!
In fact I think more than 50% are not english...

I think threads in other non english languages should be banned !!!!!!!!!!!

And those who knows english should help the others to learn English a little bit more, so they can ask theyr questions !!!

and i'm a hobby linguist. so what. my point is that you, especially after you demonstrated your faltering in the language, have no right to harp on people that are non-English speaking that make mistakes in their speaking, when in fact people that are native English speakers can't even do it themselves.

English is one of the most diffucult languages. Do you want to know why? It's because every "rule" has an exception. Nothing is 100% solid with English.

i suggest to actually read what i wrote in this thread (first page, first post of me) - if you have done that, come back again and try to argue with me, idiot! i wont repeat myself over and over again, im sick of you suckers who dont read carefully enough or simply dont think a bit before they send off a reply.

OT: i think my english is good enough that i could immediately emigrate to GB or USA without any major communication problems, so i dont give a gently caress about the poop youre talking about. HAHA

1. shut the hell up
2. most tutorials about game development/c++/whatever is written in ENGLISH
3. most opensource-applications homepages are written in ENGLISH
4. ENGLISH is the language which is spoken by the most people on earth (not as their first language, but still they know ENGLISH)
5. c++ is ENGLISH (or do you know some turkish c++ commands?)
6. ENGLISH is the most easiest language that one could possibly learn (i just count bigger language, dont come up with some african language that is used by a tribe of 100 people or something like that)
7. my personal opinion is that ENGLISH will DOMINATE the whole earth in the future and all other languages will disappear

is that enough?!
Isn't it past your bedtime? These forums exist to give people the help they need. If you aren't willing to provide that help without bashing the person asking the question, then why are you posting in the newb forum? Why are you posting at all for that matter? Trolls like you really shouldn't be allowed to communicate with other folks on the internet without parental supervision.

Ok, so i just read this thread and well i had to put my 2 cents in. I saw 2 serious flaws in GFXstyLER's post where he states "6. ENGLISH is the most easiest language that one could possibly learn (i just count bigger language, dont come up with some african language that is used by a tribe of 100 people or something like that)". The first one is that english is one of the hardest languages on the planet to learn. Especially if your first language is one of the more non english like languages, such as spanish or french, because the grammer is pretty much completely different from english. This being the reason it is easier for an english speaking person to learn german (which has many similarities to english) than it is for said person to learn french (which for the most part feels very backwards in the way things are said). English is also very difficult due to the fact that the grammer is very complex, and most of the time you have to finish a sentence before you even know what tense (past, present or future) the person was writing in. Then of course there are all the words that sound the same, are spelled differently and mean completely different things (ie. there, they're, and their -- too, to and two....) or words that are spelled the same but are pronouced differently depending on what tense you are using (which you sometimes can not tell until after you read the whole sentence ei. "I read the paper yesterday" as opposed to "I read the paper everyday"). I could go on but I think I've made my point on this. The second flaw is that your english, GFXstyLER, wasn't all that great either "ENGLISH is the most easiest language that one could possibly learn (i just count bigger language" is NOT proper AT ALL. You do not say "the most easiest" that is redundant. If it is the easiest than by definition it is the "most easiest", nothing else can be the easiest because then english would not be the easiest. Furthermore "i just count bigger language" is not right either, "i am just counting the more popular languages" would be the correct english way of saying this. Now by no means am i saying my english is perfect, because i know it's not, even though i am a english speaking person. I don't believe anyone is perfect in any language, be it first second third or what ever language it is. ESPECIALLY not english it has way to many stupid grammer rules for anyone to know them all off by heart. Anyway that's my 2 cents and i'm sorry if this offends you GFXstyLER but i just felt i had to say it, it was bugging me.

are you somewhat stupid? why do you dig out such old threads just to push your post count up? if you want to flame me open up a new thread but stop digging out old bones

edit: and no, i did not even read more than 2 sentences of your text, because:

1. you can not change my opinion about what i said in this thread before
2. it dont f*cking care
3. this discussion is over
4. its late and i need some sleep :D

Ah, hell, since he did dig it up...
First off, I only read 2 sentences of his text because, although it seemed correct grammatically, I can't stand a post (or any writing) where the auther can't start a new line, paragraph, etc.
I would rather read something with poor english rather than some run-on nonsense.

Secondly, what you people seem to not realise is that what makes a language hard to learn is relative to what you're starting out with.
Going from one language to another within the same language group is fairly easy (i.e. french to spanish or portugese or italian, or going betweeen the germanic languages, far east, etc)
A langiage becomes a more of a bitch when you jump over groups.
Not to mention that after you learn one foriegn language, others come easier.
Also not to mention how much you can surround yourself with a language makes a big difference.

English IS probably one of the easiest languages to pick up on because it's roots are spread all over the language spectrum. It draws from latin, greek, french, german, hebrew, and so on. More so than any other language. More people will find similarities in english's etymology than other languages.

Getting the goofy rules correct all the time, on the other hand, is incredibly hard. Most americans can't speak english worth a damn.

Then again, I only speak three, so I might not know what I am talking about.
I'm gonna go drink a quart of tequila now.

Anonymous wrote:But how can i animate it in blender? I mean how can i separate running etc. to use it later in the code?
For animating stuff there is that great blender manual (a huge pdf file).

How to use it in your program you need to chose a format Irrlicht can read then copy the exporter script to blender scripts dir and update the menus. Export the model to that format in blender. Copy the exported mesh to your application data dir and load it in irrlicht.

If you use .x read that 3d format reference doc to know what type of animation it uses. Then read any documentation available in the exporter script (usually none) to know what blender datablocks are used when exporting.
