free compiler with lightmaps?

@Dimitor: oh yes, and about multi materials? Everything model must have its own standard material? it's not possible to have a change of materials in the different faces of the model? This is what caused my geomtry to export wrong?

Yes in Irrlicht the main rule:

One mesh - one Material, but in one model you can have many meshes.

It seems that render to texture work well with all kinds of lights.

There seems to be some lagg when trying to download from the Russian site that corrupts or simply interrupts the download process. Just let me know. Send me any emails at amp2engine@yahoo.com; I know, for messenger I told you to add me with amp2engine@hotmail.com , but the yahoo account if for email stuff only with developers, and the MSN is only to chat online with developers.

I got problems too. As I said, it downlaods a corrupted version cause it simply stops the transfer. Using a download manager won't help either. I had to try like 8 times on each file before getting a succesful download, and I had to use "save target as..." option.

That's why I'm suggesting Zdimitor to send me each new release or email me about it so that I can mirror it.

@Zdimitor: bad news! your new version doesn't work on my system at all. It made everything crash!!! I had to use the previous one I compiled. Sceenshots of the errors in a minute.

Now the good news: I compiled a max6 version of the plugin, in case you're interested here's the download (careful, for testing purposes!!!!):

max6 plugin is based on your previous source, the one that worked ok on my system.

now here are the errors:
SS1 shows the error I'm getting with your latest plugin. It occurs with your bin version and with the version I compiled:

I use getright. and only with Tools->GetrightBrowser->download have no problems.

Well, I'm using GetRight, too...
But I never tried a download with Tools->GetrightBrowser->download... :o

Hehe, you can try it now :wink: I use this sometimes for some sites with tedious javascript lines.

BTW ZDimitor made a great tool for irrlicht and I'll find 3dMax and VisualC++ to try it!

I see the message 'Bad MY3D header...' on your ss, its because of you are using new exporter, but old loader (or new loader, but old exporter :lol:).
Use CMY3DMeshLoader from my example, i update it so it must work with new format of .my3d files.

@Vermeer: notice how there are no jaggies in the shadows? that's cause this time I used Raytraced shadows instead of shadowmaps.
