I actually think it is okay to code while drunk

Of course, the API and the specs should be designed with a sober mind.
The other header files should be done before getting drunk, too.

But the rests can be done while drunk and half asleep.

Try not to fall into that spiral. At first it seems harmless, you just code while being drunk. But next thing you know you're performing a brain surgery with a high dose of LSD :!:

I actually don't drink in real life (except for special circumstances); my brain is inefficient and error prone enough as is.
On the other hand, LSD sounds like a good idea.

Xaryl just gave some LSD to The Gimp.

Btw, in real, desktop on LSD should look some like this:

in comparsion original, sober image:

Of course is hard to paint "simulation" such as this, due to picture you see on LSD is changing, moving, floating depending on the point of your focus.
Mainly when you are staring at one point, picture just float in places where you are not focused. But when you try to focus on these floating places, you change focus and other places will start float and everything is getting really interesting :)

About coding on LSD... I never tried but always wanted to try, but I think that should be too much for brain :D
On LSD you have SO MUCH thoughts in your mind, all of these thoughts are SO AWESOME, and when you want to think about them some more you are getting more SO MUCH SO AWESOME thoughts, and when you try to think about them you are receiving another portion of SO MUCH SO AWESOME thoughts,
So I think that coding on LSD should be madness for brain :D

Nice to have an expert here.
Thanks for the info, now I can enjoy the LSD visual effect without actually using LSD, yay :D
Hopefully it is close enough...
