Hi guys, I need a little advice.

I've installed on computer of my friend fresh WinXP. 2 weeks passed and she installed so much of weird viruses and other evil that in result system don't want even boot.
I was thinking was I can install on her computer.
It must be windows due to she need software like Corel, Photoshop, InDesign, etc. Also, this can't be Win7/Vista because her computer is too old for that OS (only 768MB of RAM).

I was wondering about Win98 (not joking) and Win2k :

Win98 may be good due to low hardware requirements and lack of viruses for that OS today, so she will not infect her computer after browsing few hours on the Internet.
But, I don't know how software and hardware will work on that computer.

Win2k may be better than Win98 because it will run more software and hardware, but how about viruses and other evil?

I really wouldn't advise installling any OS which is not supported anymore, there are lots of vulnerabilities in these OSes which won't be patched anymore, effectively leaving the system wide open for infections and attacks
Also, application compatibility will be pretty bad, especially for Win98
I'd go for a fresh XP install, and make sure that the system is completely up-to-date and that decent anti-malware software is installed

Even the best security software won't help when girl is using computer :D

edit:
Ohhh I remember now. I just forgot to create her user-account with restricted rights, she was working all the time on Administrator account, that explains everything :D
I'll try install once again XP.

Thanks Radikalizm!

And teach her to think twice before she clicks links. And that the actual url can differ from the link that's written on the page ( <a href="evilsite">goodsite</a> ) etc.

Oh, and i almost forgot: An image or powerpoint presentation doesn't come in an *.exe file. Better turn off the evil 'Don't show known file-extensions'-option or what it is called.

That looks great as long as the water is still or just slightly rippling; when you create larger waves with the sphere it starts to look a lot less realistic

Awesome demo otherwise :D

Hey guys, few days ago I found old CD with Worms World Party.
How about a little match in free time?
We can set up hamachi or something, add ourselves to friend list and play in free time between coding and coding, or even make meetings with more people at weekends.
What do you think?

Sounds good pal, but unfortunately I don`t have much time recently. I also miss playing TeeWorlds with PI. :|
