I am truly amazed of how people is evolving quality-wise, the current screenshots are much much better than the first ones, which weren't bad at all, to begin with.
That 2D shooter looks too good to be true I love how it looks.
Sudi, that glowing is done the same way you explained me?, or is it diferent?

jepp it is. And i just figured out that my graphicscard sucks. when u take a look at the framerate. i tried the same on another computer. and enabling the glow didn't impact the framerate at all.

Looks great Sudi. The truth is that i was also working with another kind of glowing, and i found another way to do it. You can use the textures alpha channel to render the glowing into specific areas, so, using the alpha channel as a mask, you can create the glowing in the areas you want, also, the impact on the rendering performance is minimal. The only drawback is that this effect can have side effects with alpha channeled surfaces, but, other than that, works great. Let's wait til Irrlicht has MRT in its core

I think your game would ehh (sorry explicit languache) rape my computer.
May I post screenshots (not jet using irrlicht but) that are rendered by an other program? As I'm still learning to program. My idea was to make a game in another program. So I can learn what I need for my game, then port it to irrlicht as soon as I've finished with learning c++ through various E-books.
