The terrain is a simple texture splatting shader with 8 detail textures. It needs pixel shader 2.

Baked my normal maps tonight. Check out the detail Im getting on that low poly one.

I paused the game and took all 3 from different angles. Using XEffects and some personal modifications to Irrlicht =)

Urgh, I think you need a better artist. Those dragons look like crap to be honest.

Thanks for the honesty. Sadly I am the artist / programmer / sound guy, so I guess its back to the drawling board.

How did you manage to get 8 textures for one shader? I thougt Irrlicht just allowes 4?

Actually the shader uses 16 since I increased the amount of detail textures to 11, and there's a colormap and lightmap as well. I'm using a modified Irrlicht 1.2

Can you tell me how your irrlicht is modified? I tried it myself a few times, but never actually achieved it

Clean up the crappy dragons and now sporting some new shadow lights from Blindside =)
I found an easy way to make normal maps I plain to relase soon when I have time.
