Looks nice, but i want to see it match M.N. 's GUICE's functionality. then we can have a nice competition.

if there is only one .exe file, i guess it must be like this:
media files are in resources, so compiled in the app. dll is static and compiled in the app.

Okay firstly i made it in VB so naturally the irrlicht .dll file is not needed all thats needed is a copy of windows XP with sp2 or any version of windows with the vb runtimes installed
Next ive just downloaded Guice and i dont see anything it has that Irrgi doesnt? can you please tell me so i can implement it and more
Thirdly ive done a total overhaul of the main GUI Editing engine i wrote now its much much better and works better
so next relese it should hopefully be better ^^

I've got about 30mins total into the Guice website.
Just experimenting comming up with a theme
Guice has reached a whole new stage of devolopment... it's going to include it's own GUI class at some point and come with a heavily modded version of Irrlicht.
I've converted all my work over to codeblocks. (took me forever and a day)
Not to mention I run a cyber cafe full time in the first month all nights on the weekends... I havent barly touched my pc in weeks... but it's comming baby... and it will be beautiful.
Dude when I'm done he'll be stealing my code... hell he probably got the idea from me to begin with.
In fact I would be a lot farther along if it weren't for my greatest flaw... which is Irrlicht's flawed GUI... which I'm rewritting.

uhh dude ,, this is just a hobby project, no i didnt get the idea from you i got the idea from that open soruce VB Gui editori didnt even know u had Guice till a while ago
to be honest i dont think any one cares that u run an intenet cafe
and no i wont be steeling your codes... im a programer not a theif
i dont care how long uve been working on guice...
and qutie frankly i think your a p r i c k (mind the bad language kids) for posting such a self centerd, self concerd, i think im better than the world kind of post that was not the nicest way of doing anything dude and you should go lern some manners, i have not bagged u in any way so how dare u even accuse me of even thinking of steeling you idea's -,- (donkey)ass whole(cave in ground)

And the GUI editor I use came from my experience with C++ Builder. Took me a couple of weeks effort, but I'll be stuffed if I'm showing it here. After all - I must have stolen the idea from Midnight!
And people wonder why the Irrlicht community is small...

Good thing about opensource... You can let people taste your ideas, improve them and then you all learn together.
Bad thing about opensource... If you do something nice there's always someone saying you copied their ideas or their code...
No need to look so far away... In some gamedev communities I am part of there are always someone posting like: "I am making a game like pong." Then if someone replys "Oh do naked girls walk instead of ballz..." Then the guy comes and says: "Yeah, that was my idea. I am making a game like poing which has naked girls instead of ballz..."
Real bad thing we still are into an stage were the net is not for the 21+, kids rule and those who has some reasoning are just too stupid to have a civilized talking.
Backing on topic... the app looks great...
Nide builder... any save/load features in the pipline?

Just downloaded your builder.. looks good...
Like the interface... easy enough to use....
1 question, any load/save functionality in the pipeline for the near future?
Would be useful for a project I'm working on at the moment...
Had a look at guice beta 0.11, it's seems ok.. but OpenGL runs like a dog on this machine.. (Old Dell laptop with ATI card...)

Pretty neat. I stoped making my gui editor a while back, though I still use it from time to time.
Any free tool is a good tool
@Midnight:
You gotta be kidding me. Please don't flaunt yourself in someone elses thread for a "competing product" even if it is free. Its unprofessional and disrespectful. That said, I do hope guice is great, though I probably wouldn't use a modified Irrlicht engine just for a GUI.
