-Programmers
-graphic artists
-Server managers
-Sound Track people
-And any one I might be missing! If you think you have a skill you could bring to the team then let me know!

Team structure:

Additional Info:
story: After Earths 3rd world war, which left earth in ruins, a new means of survival had to be found. Those left alive created diffrent factions and were loyal to no one but their other faction brothers and sisters. As weeks turned into months and months into years earths remaining resources were runing out and wars broke out between the diffrent factions for control of the few remaining resources. One Faction however saw that this was getting them no where and called the other Faction leaders to figure out a way that all the factions could survive. They thought after talking about it for many days that the sky held the answers they where seeking and so the factions set out and soon they were in the sky with a limitless number of worlds to call their own. However it wasn't long before old ways set back in and they found them selfs once again split up into factions with the sounds of war ringing all around. Welcome to the world of Star Empire: Confrontation!

Races: Still deciding
Jobs: still deciding
-Player created Factions as well as 4 factions at launch
-Faction controled planets with defenses
-Faction controled cities
-Factions will be able to design their own cities, houses, weapons, ships and defenses to a point (no invinciable type things)
-Space/Ground combat, PVP and PVNPC, Faction vs Faction
and more

Feedback:
Any type as long as you don't tell me it sounds like other games out. I have been told that and we are working hard to provide a game thats unlike other games.

I'm curios in what state is the game now. Do you have any experience with MMORPG's ? Have you tested a demo MMORPG game engine ? Or this is just the begining ?

The only Experience with MMORPGs I have is playing them however we have a team of experienced Programmers who will be doing the programming. Right now our team consists of 9 people. 2 programmers, 2 music people, 3 3D designers, 1 Concept art designers and I am creating the story, quests, and website and managing the team with the help of one of our 3D designers. Right now we have only been working on this for a little over a week so we don't have alot done however right now we are working on creating a single player offline demo to show what we can do and some of the ship classes and stations.

Good luck. MMorpg are tough to manage, and to create.

How much money do you want to bet this won't go into tech demo, if it does, it will probably be like a small room with a few lights. I Guarantee it!

Have you made any games before, or is this your first? how long do you expect to be working on this game for? does 3-4 years sound about right?
"The only Experience with MMORPGs I have is playing them..." - have your programmers done a mmorpg before, or worked on one? how about a 5+ multiplayer?
"Space/Ground combat" - does this mean you're making a planet terrain node, or will you be cheating with docking rings or something similar?
if your coders can do a procedural planet terrain, then they may also have the skills to do a mmorpg. you should work on this first ;)
"Factions will be able to design their own cities, houses, weapons, ships and defenses to a point (no invinciable type things)" - erm... 'Okay'
I think for an idea this big, the vision should belong to a damn good coder. I certainly wouldn't follow anyones dream if they couldn't do all the technical stuff themselves, I wonder who would? I certainly wouldn't bet against the guest above.
Maybe you should try a single player fps.

I like that smooth and rounded edge of your table. :D

How many frame rates have you got there? on your last
image, if it is rendered under irrlicht, the one with
smooth and rounded edge table. 10..20 or more?

I would strongly recommend using a specific MMORPG platform that has been designed from the ground up to do just that.

For a team of your size, it will be just too much work, you're be forever designing the engine without even getting near the game itself.

There are solutions out there, in this case Google will be your friend.

EmpireProductions don't listen this peoples ;)
Try make space shooter and rebuild it into MMORPG , its not so hard
as many peoples think.

Also im think if you make space shooter demo you can find peoples with
good network programming skills who can make net module for your game.
Space shooter not require hard alghoritms in network module , its can be
easy created by using simple alghoritms like 'deadreconing'.

Well.. when you really want something you can do it. I remember when I first wanted to make a 3D flash game with inventory system peolple from forums told me that is to difficult and I wont do it. But I really wanted and I did it. My math teacher form highscool told me that I would not pass math and is impossible to learn all in 3 days but I really wanted to pass and I did it. Now the list can go on. What I mean is that all you need is dedication cause hard work comes with that. Any way if you dont manage to realease the game at least you get some experience with game developing ;)

Dedication and five years of your life perhaps. A flash program is peanuts compared to an MMPOG.

Two years from conception to release with 3 programmers who never had worked on a game before : http://www.starsonata.com/

They were however profesionnal developpers, just not in games.
