Can't remove or open 2 folders

I can't remove or open the dxsdk and microsoftSDK since i moved them from their previous location to program files, i just get access denied make sure the file is not copyprotected or the disk is not full.

They are copyprotected, but all attempts at disabling the copy protection make no difference the folders are still copyprotected after i uncheck the copyprotected box and press confirm.

The folders behave like they are empty and if i link to them the linking to all of the files that are supposed to be included from them fails.

I've tried to remove them with cmd and del and rmdir commands but even that results in access denied.
:(

Any suggestions on how to solve this are apreciated

edit the computer has xp home edition.

you're gonna have to take control of the two folders

go into Safe Mode and log in as Administrator. then go to the properties of each of the folders (youll have to do one then the other) and you should have a "Security" tab. in there click Advanced, and in the new screen go to the "Owner" account, and select your account and hit ok
