Importing *.map or half life maps in irrlicht

can i import *.map half life format files in irrlicht and if so then how
plz help

I guess, you have to "compile" your map file into a bsp file using Q3MAP for intance.

or you could load it in Milkshape
and then save it in a format that Irrlicht can load

Xterminhate is right; Irrlicht does not support HL bsps, but you can open your .map file in a compliant Q3 level editor (Gtkradiant/Quark), re-texture and compile your level into a supported Q3 bsp level.
