edit: well, sorry about that, I've forgotton one of your rules....

So here is the description:

With Blender _link_ create a simple seal with uv-maps, textures, bones and a simple animation. Then export it as a .x File and let it open in your Application or the Irrlicht Mesh Viewer.

I think a seal is a good object to start with, because the topics above are not too hard to achieve on a (low-poly) seal.

If this challenge will be picked, I will be happy to take part of it, since until now, I don't have a clue about blender itself.

One last question, when you will you determine the 3 challenges? So what's the "deadline" for ideas?

Description:

1. Create a 3D version of a common 2D game such as Pong, Tetris, etc. with original code.

2. Use TestSceneNodes
and / or
simple 3D models that you create using a simple program such as
http://www.anim8or.com/ Anim8tor.

3. Use classes and functions to organize your code!

My suggestion:

Create a simple game with the following:
1. An animated character that is controllable, with a gun.
2. Some animated 'enemies'.
3. A simple scene for the battle to take place in.

If you create a challenge like this, you leave it open whether people do 2D or 3D games, the style of the game, or anything like that - so peeps can use their creativity how they like. I would like to see the results, hehe.
