It is an easy framework i'm developing.

Is a combination of Irrlicht, Newton, irrLua and DustyEngine.
Audio and Network Support are planned.

In the future i'd like to have FPS, RPG, Racing, Space templates games, in this way people can start their projects very quickly.

I know the proyect is very ambicious, so any helps are welcome.

More about it at:

It looks promising. No gamepad/joystick/steering wheel support? (i.e. SDL?) What about RTS, platformer, puzzler, and simulation game templates?

I can't wait to try it out when I get home. :)

I wished someone would put together a framework that includes the various codes/examples found in this forum and the wiki like irrConsole, irrLua, the many different 3rd person cams, RTS cam by Yellow, split screen, etc.

Then provide a way for the user to pick and choose which cam he/she likes. Anyway, one can dream. :D

It sounds great. I wish it wasn't windows specific tho.

MarcoTMP -- OMG! I just tried the demo. Holy, mother! This is so cool. I looked at the "IrrGameShell04Source" and it's amazing what you've done with getting all the components working together in the code (newton, lua, audiere, etc.). I'm floored dude. :!:

Thanks for your positive comments!

MikeR: As you can see, all the libraries i'm using are multiplatform, so anyeone could try to compile it on another OS.

Hey man, i have downloaded the source and its all friken awsome, my project has to have intergration of phsyics, and when i read that this framework supports it i was very pleased, i was just wondering if this is implemented to a working state as some functions are commented out and others blank?,

Just open the sourcecode and take a look into the .pkg files to see which functions are available. I just started the documentation, it will be out in the next release. Wait it for the next days.

Hey man, I am deveolping a similar engine to yours, but using different addons, i just checked yours out, and i must say that it is extremely well coded, everything is set out nicely and the LUA intergration is very well done, lookn forward 2 seing how this thing pans out.
and the dude above me is right, when irrlicht does have a good framwork avalibe for users and newb's to use then there will be a massive increase in the Project Annoucments page, cause the hardest thing is makn the engine and once ppl have this tool at thier disposal it will be very good for the irrlicht community.

well, l8terz and really well done.
