Welcome Comrades!

I'm here to tell you that our project: Subcultures was started two days ago. What is it? This is a tactical-strategy game. Player must command the band of some guys from choosen subculture, and defeat the hostile subcultures (ex. Metals vs Skate). Player begin game with one representative of subculture, and he must 'recruit' new guys, gain 'respect' and conquer city sections. Player can command at most 20 guys and he can arm them (buying weapons for team)...

How many experiences we have with game developing and irrlicht? I created Bloodgiver (i think there are some screenshots on irrlicht's homepage :) ) and won that polish competition. Of course all members have some experiences with graphics and other gd elements.

Why we make Subcultures? We need to start our activity with small, light project. After it we will made Wasted: A Postapocalyptic...

In Subcultures we use irrlicht for graphics and Newton for physics. All graphical and physical events of game are controlled by Therion Game System.

Who we need? Now we looking for small team. When we done Subcultures, the team that make SC are preferential to be a core team of Wasted!

Well... i think thats all that i want to say...

About: Now we use only pseudo-models of characters, because we work on mechanics now. After that, main models and scenery objects will be used.

hi there,

i remeber a game named subculutres from ubi-soft. perhaps you should take care using this name. wouldn't be very funny to be threatened by ubi-soft (if they still exists)

greetings
