Dear all,
I just want to introduce my little project here:
Silent Depth
Click here for a larger image!
It will be a game most comparable to Archimedean Dynasty (Schleichfahrt). Maybe you better know Aquanox, but my project will be less a shooter, but more a simulation, which will (later) include stations, trading and so on.
At the moment there is only a small demo, you can
download here.
The next (development) step will be a multiplayer part and of course some improvements like joystick support and graphics and sound enhancement.
Thanks to bitplane, btw, as I use his grass node in my project.

hey, i love aquanox!
your interface is damn cool! everything is nice but i may have some suggestions:
make the fog color a little bit more green and a little lighter, because its very dark and looks too blue (but maybe its just my monitor setting)
then you could increase the view-range or use a sky like aquanox (no real "sky" but you can see the water surface with sunflares and all that stuff) because otherwise you lose orientation quickly, with a sky you would know where the top and the bottom is.
you even got the particles in the water
pretty cool!!
this sure is a nice project

Thanks for your suggestions, and this is a main reason I post here.
You are right, the fog might be a little bit too "blue".

looks very nice!
love the hud and mini-map and stuff.
i spotted an underwater daffodil down there, you might want to change the texture hehe. also, if you are using the heightmap for the grass colour, i think you should change the influence of the colour so the stuff at the bottom isn't so dark
looking forward to updates on this

Thanks bitplane, and sorry for the late answer.
I've changed some stuff again, the vegetation looks more like underwater now.
The torpedo steering works now "rocksolid", almost every torpedo hits its target.
I've updated the screenshot in my first posting...
