I created a model in 3DS max. I exported it and render it in irrlicht and cool features are present. Parts of the model are misplaced. The model is a bridge and the railings are off-centered. When I use 3ds max to import the .3ds file, everything is positioned correctly, so I don't think is is a problem with 3ds max.
Any clues?
model positions misplaced
Hierarchical objects are not supported by Irrlicht. I have added the parsing part for this already, but I don't know how to combine all these parts correctly. If you have some more insights into the transformations stored inside the .3ds models I'd appreciate to know.
Anyway, there's a solution in Max, I just don't know how it is called. Vermeer should know. I think it's something like collapse which removes all these unncessary misplacements.
