8000th post

Post by niko »

Cool, today we've got more than 8000 posts in the forum. Nice! The uncompressed backup file of the forum is also quite huge: It already has about 26MB. Can't wait for the 10000th post. :)

So, what do you think, how soon do we reach 10000? [Ok, this is another senceless thread. ;)]

April, March if we have a lot of senseless threads like this.

;)

:P

Edit: YES! I AM NUMBER 5! I WILL BE #1 SOON ENOUGH! :twisted:

I put April.

Good grief, the mighty have fallen. I'm almost 100 posts behind keless now. But that spammer, niko, is almost to 800. :D

1/10th of all posts.

Congratulations niko and everyone here! I appreciate how niko helps everyone (even newbies like me). Without the feedback he provides it is unlikely that all of the skilled helpers like saigumi, keless, hunt3r, robomaniac, DarkWhoppy, Boogle, powerpop etc... would have stayed around. Thanks to all of the helpers too. Go Irrlicht!

I have to say march because I have a project for my game development class due at the end of March and unless I get a little smarter this forum is gunna get really really busy.

For example it is not even crunch time and in the fifteen days since I joined I have made 51 posts and probibly 20 more where I forgot to login.

And for my project I still have a lot to do!

And don't you know a good coder always increments as such:

Code: Select all

my_postcount = ++my_postcount;

smile-- why would you set "mypostcount = ++mypostcount;"? Thats exactly the same as just "++mypostcount;"

Sai-- "I'm almost 100 posts behind keless now. But that spammer, niko, is almost to 800."

If we work together, we can beat him. Lets start a new thread talking about how cool niko is, then we'll post back and forth about it, upping our post-counts. And niko wont be able to post, or he'll be considered an egomaniac. :wink:

Ah... team work. That's what open source is all about.

Or, we could start a thread about obnoxious, confusing, and over jargonated Irrlicht requests and problems like:

Obnixous-
"When will Irrlicht have quintuple bifurcated, zeon spline-mapped, posinetic mentestic render throughput?"

or

Confusing - "I was splat treeing a firg normal on my mesh and the transient bypass algorithm showed a negative 3 manifold error percentage. How do I decouple the ray reflective matrix?"

or

Over Jargonated - "I'm attempting to positively increment a variant real number storage container that demonstrates the accrued numeric gauge of forum postings by a single unit. What is the proper syntax for this function?"

(Answer: PostCount++;)

My postcount is too low.
So therefore i would like to talk about Guinness.
I have one can here beside me.
It's black with white text on it.
And some images.
Inside there is a small plastic ball.
The beer is verry dark.
I'm going to drink it tonight.
There. some rant about my favourite beer.
