Hey everyone... ok I searched for long time for this, but i found nothing...
I have a simple question.. The LightSceneNodes of Irrlicht are positioned in my *.3ds Map, which uses the textures I declared in 3DS MAX, the number of textures is about ten. However, I want the lights not to shine trough my walls (because they are doing it at the moment).. okay I could set the light source radius lower, but I need such big light sources for my stuff... can anyone help according to that?
And... I also use a parallax map in my level, and, on a few places, it looks so ugly.. i think, there where other textures (declared in 3ds) than the main texture are; the parallax map effect on other textures is not the same, you also can see the parralax map, but it behaves not as it should... i will post some pictures when I have time for that.

Light through walls is normal behaviour and for dynamic lights it is not feasible to take in occlusion.
You have to limit radius of your lights and place them cleverly to limit this effect. And consider static lighting with lightmaps. IrrEdit is able to create them for you.
Parallax mapping requires a fitting normal map to look good. Are you sure you provide one?

to solve this, make your level with walls just a one mesh, or set the material of the mesh of room you wish to remain unlit to a material which doesn't consider that light .... paralax material considers two closest lights... changed it to one, and place the wanted one always closer to the mesh imune to other lights 
what is this thing...

@Saturn, yes yes, i made a Normal Map ^^ That dynamic lights shine trough walls is a little bit shitty, but okay, i'll try lightmaps. I did'nt know that i can make them in irrEdit...
@needforhint: mh.. i only use one mesh already, but with many textures (*.3ds). I'll try something.. thanks for helping. Thanks for the info of the two closest lights!
