Vertex Buffers

Post by Luke923 »

I was wondering what the timeline was for implementing vertex buffers. The reason that I ask is that the vertex buffer support is the main hurdle in the way of shader support. Of course, once shaders are supported, all the other cool stuff missing from Irrlicht at the present(dp3 bump-mapping, cel shading, real-time cloth, etc) can be added easily once the code infrastructure is in place.

Just curious.

Sorry, I can not say when I'll add vertex buffers. There is simply no timeline. No plan. :)

That was fast :D . You wouldn't mind if I tinkered with it, then. Would you?
