Suggestions for next release
two that are on my mind:
- add a DIRTY FLAG to the scenenode interface, this flag is cleared after every prerender - since i am integrating irrlicht with other libraries it would be enormously helpful to know after a render whether an objects values have been touched
- separating event receiving - many scenenodes seem to include key processing in the base class - it would be nicer if the event processor was external to the core object - maybe set it up like animators but give the control on when the keys are processed to the game programmer
thanks for considering!

That was fast. Even a new tutorial, too. Nothing against yagodib (who is a WAAAAAAAAYY better artist than I could ever to aspire), but my first thought when I saw the screenshot of that dwarf was those two rats in those Quizno's commercials singing offkey about Quizno's subs.
I realize that some here aren't American, and have not one iota of what I am speaking. click here.
And, no, I do not work for Quiznos.

woah!
congratulations, Niko
HEY, be careful with the dwarf you talk to ! ... need to kick some orcs now...
hehe, is a craaap model. I know. U can speak freely. Was just for fun meeting no kind of quality level XD Is more inspired in South park than in Gimli (anyway, the wasn't any Lord of the rings film for then..(I keep saying, I prefer the books... ))
btw, i didn't know bout quiznos, but they look funny...
Anyway, any sharp eye will notice how that round stomach has vertices that move in a different strength and motion than the others, also noticeable in the back...but is very subtle, as the guy itself is a bit...compact
the texture is garbage, too.
somehow I always find it funny, is my only "funny" model afterall, and one way or the other, I keep not being able to preserve my animated models, so...
so , *.x is basicly working now...YUM....
As u'll notice, I'm using this post to test all the freaking smileys here...
