And it's even harder to read them back in a proper way that always works with every export format.

i see there's no irrlicht.dll and other dynamic libraries. did you pack them in the dat file? since the initialization needs irrlicht.dll, how did you uppack/read all the needed files/dlls before creating the device?

I don't think you'll get any answer. That's an old project, too old for any support.

There's an email contact address for the author at the bottom of his announcement post.

I have a copy that I hacked up real good. It doesn't build anymore. I tried to change too much code. Now it's busted. That's what I get for trying to 'modernized' it (go from irrlicht 0.7 to 1.5). It's enough to rip all your hair out. :? I have one hair left on my head.

Sorry for bumping, but the source died again. Does anyone have a copy?

If I get access to the source code zip once again, I can upload it onto my personal webserver and archive it permanently so it doesn't get lost.

Ok, I got it now on my local computer. Since my upload speed is fairly slow, I'll need an hour or so for uploading. As soon as school is finished, I'll start uploading it onto my server and throw in the link here.

The source code is now archived and hopefully available to everyone for a long time.
(Maybe some moderator wants to include a notice/link to this post into the first one by x486? Because I fear some people won't read this thread until this post when they read all those posts about the source code being lost again, then uploaded for a day and then again being lost)

Have fun! I hope x4861 doesn't care too much  otherwise notify me please, I just want to help out archiving a complex piece of sotware (although I haven't really tested it myself yet, but I loved Neverwinter Nights 1)

In case anyone is interested in such an old project, here's the download with source.

http://renars.m6.net/games/

A small note: the engine was compiled into the executable directly, therefore no .dll file was used.

Cheers! 8)

I know this is a very old topic, but I would really like the source. Thanks!
