I have done this as a end career project. Unfortunately I had a very tight timeline, so I had to abandon some features.

I would also like to thank everybody from this forums who has helped me solving the issues I found during development, which were a lot and I'm sure I couldn't have solved without help.

This project is a virtual reconstruction of "La granja de la Vinya Nova", which is located in Catalonia (Spain). Nowadays it's mostly in ruins, so it was a though task. At some points there's also additional information about the character lives and what their tasks consisted to.

Finally, here are some screenshots of the completed project:

No. All models were created using 3Ds Max 6. The environment was then lightmapped exported to my3d. The animated models were exported to b3d.

Very nice, i'd really like to try it out. Any chance you will release an executable to the public?

I'm not sure yet about what I'm going to do with it, although it's highly possible that I will release a public version in the near future.

However, before releasing any public version I would like to solve some bugs that were left out due to the tight deadline (mainly collision bugs). It's unfortunate, but I know I could have done a lot better in the modelling/texturing/animation department if I had more time.

Also I would like to have the final mark on the project before releasing any version. I still have to do the class presentation, and I don't know when it's going to be, I hope it's soon.

Thanks to everybody for the comments!

You could make some little adventure game motive later. (maybe as expansion ;) ?)

It would be actually quite cool, to gather all of such historical/old buildings/places and put to every one a short story to complete with some interesting puzzles.

But that's just an advice - as you already have finished the project's main target.

nice.

the donkey legs look like bent crowbars but the face is photo realistic.

I bet it's funny to watch him walk lol.

Well, due to time constriants I had to model/texture/animate it in less than 8 hours.

It's in fact quite funny to watch it walk.... I'm not very proud of it hehe
