No, and very disrespectful to the OP who undoubtedly put a lot of work and effort into them.

http://www.opsound.org/ - CuteAlien gave me this site on IRC one day, or at least I think it was CuteAlien. I believe he used music from the site in his HCraft game. Very cool sounds. Also Myspace is a good bet for downloadable music, just look under the different categories: experimental, electronica, etc.

Though it can take alot of searching to find something of use, you can find some over on the opensource musc section on archive.org

http://www.archive.org/details/opensource_audio

or perhaps

http://modarchive.org/

for various tracker music files.

Nah, but i they wont sue you either. Plus it will be difficult fro him to find your project unless someone denounces you :p.

Also most musics are crap and pretty much repetitive.

... and yet none of the above justifies stealing arteria-gaming's products.

@Monochrome: Jam is right. Please mind your comments. Here, at the Irrlicht community, we promote game development at any level, but most important we respect the right of others to make a living out of it, hence we feel glad to see developers place their packs. Your comment shows no respect for their hard work and harms the good image of both the Irrlicht community and Arteria-Gaming since you're openly manifesting that stealing something (whatever it is) is ok. This is not our philosophy here. On the other hand, stealing is stealing anywhere on earth, and if the product belongs to someone then it's copyrighted material so you either pay for that or you can get sued.

As a final note, ripping their sample sounds with a sound capturer wouldn't be any good since they're lowered versions of their music. To get a good 128 or even a 256 kbps mp3 you ought to pay for it. Arteria's samples are definitely quality-lowered.

I hope you get the message.
Sincerely
Alvaro F. Celis
